POLICE have arrested two teenagers on suspicion of arson following the blaze at Waterlooville’s Curzon Room.

The 16-year-old boys were arrested this morning (THURS) in connection with the fire which destroyed the derelict building in Waterlooville town centre.

It took 60 firefighters from across the area to get the fire under control after it caught hold between 2am and 3.30am n Wednesday.

It was the second arson attack on the former dance hall in three weeks.

Police are still looking for witnesses.
