POLICE are probing claims that four teenagers were attacked at a house party.

Officers have carried out house-to-house inquiries and dropped off leaflets appealing for information at neighbouring properties following the alleged incident.

Police were called out between 1am and 2am on Sunday following reports of a gathering of about 40 people at a house in Londesborough Road, Southsea.

The following morning four reports of assault were reported on a 17-year-old girl from Portchester, two 18-year-olds, one from Havant and one from Waterlooville, and a 19-year-old woman from Havant.

The girls suffered minor injuries.

Two thefts were also reported amid claims a bag containing iPhones and a camera was stolen from the property the previous evening.

Now police are appealing for anyone with information to get in touch.

Anyone with information or who witnesses the incident is asked to contact Hampshire police on 101 or the Crimestoppers charity on 0800 555111 where information can be left anonymously.
