Teenagers charged by police over thefts of bikes

TWO teenagers have been charged after bikes were stolen.

Hampshire police have charged a 17 year-old girl from Portsmouth and Harry Wild, 18, of no fixed address.

It comes after thefts were reported at Cunningham Road in Waterlooville and at the Horizon Leisure Centre in Havant.

There were nine thefts reported from September 10 to October 11 in Petersfield. The girl was charged with seven bike thefts and two of handling stolen goods.

Wild has been charged with nine bike thefts. Both will be in front of Portsmouth magistrates on January 12.
