TEN people charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs after a series of raids in Portsmouth have appeared in court.
Samuel Benjamin MacNamee, 27, of Rockrose Way, Paulsgrove; Stacey Paul Smith, 37, of Oriel Road, North End; Kevin Darren Williams, 47, from Portsmouth; Daniel Arthur Paterson, 32, of Samson Close, Gosport; Lorenc Ymeraj, 30, of Grove Road North, Southsea; and Skender Ymeraj, 24, of Wingfield Street, Buckland, were each remanded in custody at Portsmouth Crown Court.
A further four people, Jonathan Nigel Palmer, 37, of Highgate Road, Copnor; Simon Peter Smith, 44, of Wymering Lane, Wyerming; Adam Bradley Derry, 32, of Raymond Road, Paulsgrove; and Robert John Hoadley, 33, of East Shore Way, Milton, Portsmouth, were all released on bail.
All 10 are charged with conspiracy to supply class A drugs.
It comes after Hampshire police raided homes and businesses in the city under Operation Fortress following a nine-month investigation into the supply of drugs.
Officers seized about £50,000 in the probe.
