TWO employees of a Royal British Legion club were threatened with a hammer and a knife during a robbery.

The pair were locking up at the club in Selsey High Street when they were approached by two men.

The robbers managed to make off with money after forcing the staff back inside to open the safe.

It happened just after midnight on Tuesday.

The suspects are both white and skinny. One wore a black crash helmet and a burgundy top, and spoke with a Scottish accent. Call police with information on 101.
