A THIEF stole jumpers and meat to buy drugs.

Christoper Fagan took a pile of jumpers, worth £200, from New Look in Havant. And he stole £25 worth of meat from Farmfoods in Havant.

In a separate incident the 32-year-old assaulted a police officer after he was arrested for being drunk and disorderly in Somborne Drive, Havant.

Fagan, of High Lawn Way, Havant, admitted two counts of theft, being drunk and disorderly and assaulting a police officer. He was ordered to have six months of drug rehabilitation treatment and a year of supervision.
