THIEF Lee Harris has been jailed after admitting a string of offences.

The 32-year-old of Cunningham Road, Waterlooville, admitted four counts of theft at shops in Cosham and Waterlooville.

He stole hundreds of pounds worth of items, including make-up, Champagne, steak, chicken and Moet wine.

Portsmouth magistrates jailed him for three months concurrent for each offence.

He struck on February 12, February 11, March 24 and June 25. He targeted Wilko, Asda, Tesco and Co-op stores in the area.

He also admitted breaching a conditional discharge for theft and was resentenced to three months concurrent for the April 5 offence.

His guilty plea was taken into account at sentencing.

He was jailed due to his previous history of offending, the court ruled.
