ALCOHOL thief Kathryn Beech has been told to pay compensation.

Beech, 31, of Brownlow Close, Buckland, Portsmouth, admitted stealing four bottles of spirits worth £77 from Morrisons in Anchorage Road, Portsmouth.

And she admitted stealing cheese and coffee worth more than £117 from the Co-op in Tregaron Avenue, Portsmouth.

Beech was given a six-month conditional discharge and told to pay £172.16 in compensation and costs by Portsmouth magistrates.
