A THIEF caught stealing while subject to a suspended sentence has been jailed.

Karen Nash, from Purbrook Way, Havant, pleaded guilty to stealing meat and cat food worth £58.05 from Asda at The Bridge Centre in Fratton, Portsmouth, on February 3.

The 46-year-old was sentenced to 56 days in prison by Portsmouth magistrates.

No order for costs was made.
