A CHOCOLATE thief has been ordered to pay compensation after stealing from a shop.

Anthony Powell, 33, of King Street, Southsea, admitted stealing £120 worth of chocolates from a Sainsbury’s store in Portsmouth on January 6.

Portsmouth magistrates told him to pay £120 in compensation.

He was also told to pay £40 in costs to the Crown Prosecution Service.
