THIEVES stole about £10,000 worth of equipment from a tattoo parlour in Portsmouth.

The burglary happened between 8.30pm on Saturday and 8.45am on Sunday at a shop in London Road, North End, close to the junction of Angerstein Mews.

The equipment stolen includes an Eclipse laser removal machine, a steriliser machine and an Apple MAC computer.

It’s believed thieves got in through the back.

Police staff investigator Catherine Cole said: ‘This is a high value theft of specialist equipment. We are urging anyone to come forward if they’ve recently been offered these kind of items to purchase or know of some one recently acquiring tattoo and piercing equipment.’

Officers are asking for anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious between these times to call 101 and quote reference number, 44150283770.
