THREE people have been arrested after threats were made to motorists in two incidents.

They both happened within 45 minutes of each other in Havant and both involved occupants of a silver van.

The first incident was at 9.10pm on Saturday in Asda car park, Bedhampton.

A man was threatened and a woman tried to pull open the door of his grey Skoda Octavia. The victim drove off but was followed by the van.

It is believed at least one man was with the woman in the van Ford Transit.

At 9.45pm there was a road rage altercation involving a silver Ford Transit van.

It also involved a blue Citroen DS3 and a white Vauxhall Corsa.

The two cars and their occupants were parked in car park at Mill Lane, on Portsdown Hill, when the van drew up.

Officers are trying to trace any witnesses to either incident, or anyone who thinks they may have seen the van around the time of the incidents or saw the people inside.

Two men aged 38 and 18 and a woman aged 21 have been arrested and are being questioned by police.

Anyone with information can call Det Con Samantha Gee at Fratton CID on 101.
