A TODDLER has been taken into protective custody following a late-night row.

Police also made three arrests following a public order incident at Randal View, Bishopsfield Road, Fareham at about 11pm on Wednesday.

Officers were called to a disturbance following 999 calls by nearby residents.

Police entered the address and arrested three people inside. A two-year-old child was also taken into police protective custody.

Fareham District Inspector Matt Cox said: ‘Officers are in Bishopfield Road today visiting addresses to offer reassurance to residents.

‘We are also keen to speak to anyone who may have information which could assist our investigation into the public order incident.

‘As well as dealing with the specific incident which led to last night’s arrests we are also working with First Wessex housing towards a long-term resolution to the issues experienced by other residents.’

A 25-year-old man from Gosport, a 22-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man both from Fareham were arrested on suspicion of public order offences.
