THREE teenagers were caught trying to break into Currys.

Gary Clark, Jordan Camburn and Jack Durow were arrested at Ocean Park shopping centre in Burrfields Road, Copnor.

Clark, 19, of Albert Road, Cosham, initially denied a charge of attempted burglary but changed his plea to guilty before a trial.

Camburn, 19, of Henderson Road, Eastney, and Durow, 18, of Bramshott Road, Southsea, were found guilty of the same charge after a trial.

Clark also admitted having a knife on him and breaching a community order for a previous offence.

He was sentenced to 16 weeks in a young offenders’ institute at Fareham Magistrates’ Court.

Camburn and Durow were given community orders which will include support to keep them out of trouble.
