DRINK-DRIVER Ricky Lane has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

Lane pleaded guilty to driving a Ford Focus in Great Copse Drive, Havant, while over the limit on March 16.

A test revealed the 25-year-old’s breath contained 51 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35mg.

Lane, of Glamorgan Road, Waterlooville, was banned from driving for three years by Portsmouth magistrates.

He was fined £110 and told to pay £15 to crime victims and £85 costs.

The ban could be reduced by nine months if he pays to complete a driving course.
