A SPEED camera been set on fire by vandals has been replaced.

The temporary camera was meant to snap drivers speeding through roadworks at the Ham Barn roundabout on the A3, near Liss.

A spokesman for the Highways Agency said: ‘The speed camera was damaged in the early hours of December 30 at around 4am.

‘We believe the damage was caused deliberately and the camera has now been replaced.

‘We are aiming to finish the road improvements in the middle of February.’
