A CAR salesman who sold vehicles with fake service details will have his profits clawed back.

Hampshire County Council is launching confiscation proceedings against Gordon Angelo of Pettycot Crescent, who runs Part X Motors.

As reported yesterday, Angelo, 46, pleaded guilty to three fraud offences and was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for two years with 84 hours of unpaid work.

Council leader Roy Perry said: ‘These criminal activities deliberately misled consumers.’
