POLICE are appealing for information after an attack on a man in his 40s outside his home in Bosham, West Sussex.

Police and emergency services were called to the victim’s house at around 8.45pm last Friday to find the man with a serious head injury.

He was taken by ambulance to St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester, for treatment and has since been discharged.

A Sussex Police spokesman said: ‘We are still investigating the exact circumstances that led up to this nasty attack and are appealing for anyone with information to please call 101 or the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 111 555.’

Two men aged 36 and 47, both from Bosham, were arrested nearby on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and have been bailed until May 4 pending further inquiries.
