A MAN has been arrested in a Portsmouth cafe on suspicion of possessing a large knife.

Officers were called to Fagins, in Charlotte Street, Landport, today at 11.13am after reports of an argument involving two men in their 30s.

Police took a 32-year-old Portsmouth man into custody after he allegedly brandished a hunting knife inside the cafe.

It is believed the two men were known to each other and no one was injured in the incident.
