DRINK-DRIVER Joanne Bartlett has been banned from getting behind the wheel.

She pleaded guilty to driving a car in Fratton Road, Fratton, Portsmouth, after drinking too much alcohol.

A test revealed the 40-year-old’s breath contained 96 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mg.

Bartlett, of Farnhurst Road, Barnham, Bognor Regis, was fined £350.

She was told to pay £85 in costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims and banned from driving for two years by Portsmouth magistrates.

The ban could be reduced if she completes a driving course.
