POLICE searching for a woman who vanished on her way to work have found a body.

Tracy Wicks, 46, left her home in New Road, Copnor, Portsmouth yesterday at 7am but did not arrive at work.

Now Hampshire police have said they found a body in Hilsea and have informed her family.

Formal identification has yet to be completed.

Police are not treating the death as suspicious.

It comes hours after her sister Diane Covington, 45, of Nessus Street, Buckland, made a direct appeal to her sister to return home.

Tracy, who has two grown-up daughters and a son and works with disabled children, recently became a grandmother.
