The crime-fighting independent charity is arriving in the towns today in a bid to find more than 100 people suspected of committing crimes.

Young Kenny Hughes, pictured, and Tony Hughes, are wanted in connection with a burglary in Nottingham Place, Lee-on-the-Solent in July last year.

Car batteries and an old alloy wheel were stolen from the garden and a petrol chainsaw was stolen from a shed.

Crimestoppers hopes the public will recognise the most wanted and report them to police or the charity.

Julia Hughes, regional manager for Crimestoppers in Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, said: ‘The public are vital to the successful location and arrest of local most wanted people.

‘We urge everyone to have a look at these faces and, if you recognise any of the suspects, to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.

‘You can be assured that your identity will never be revealed. We don’t want to know who you are, just what you know.’

And in Havant a man caught on CCTV is wanted after the theft of multiple items from the Co-op in Middle Park Way.

Over the past six months Most Wanted has hosted 152 appeals for Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, with 39 of the individuals now arrested.

Rebecca Colvin, intelligence development manager for Hampshire Constabulary, said: ‘Crimestoppers’ Most Wanted gallery continues to be an integral tool for all of the police and wider law enforcement agencies.’

Simon Hayes, Hampshire’s police and crime commissioner, was due to be at the events today.

He said: ‘As a past chairman of Crimestoppers I know and understand the value of these campaigns.

‘I am very happy to financially support this Most Wanted campaign in Hampshire.

‘With two local arrests in two days following Crimestoppers’ national campaign, I hope that this local initiative can build upon such impressive results and bring more wanted criminals to justice.’
