POLICE are investigating after a horse had its tail cut.

The thoroughbred was with two other horses in a field in Warsash.

PC Sam Couchman said: ‘We have been made aware that a horse in Warsash had its tail cut sometime between Friday and Saturday last week.

‘It is suspected that this could be a sign for someone
to come back and steal the horse.’

He appealed for people to report suspicious activity to police on 101.
