DRINK-DRIVER Lucy Lockie has been banned from getting behind the wheel for 28 months.

Lockie pleaded guilty to driving a Nissan Micra in Place Crescent, Waterlooville, while three times the legal alcohol limit.

A test revealed her breath contained 117 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres.

The legal limit is 35 mcg of alcohol per 100ml

Lockie, 43, of Place Crescent, Waterlooville, was fined £100 and ordered to pay £55 costs and £15 to a fund for crime victims by Portsmouth magistrates.

The ban could be reduced by seven months.

However Lockie must first pay up to £250 and complete a government-approved driving course by February 11 2014.
