A WOMAN caught driving without a valid licence has been banned from the roads.

Emily Corbin, 25, of Kingfisher Close, Waterlooville, admitted committing the offence while driving a Rover 25 in London Road, Portsmouth.

She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £15 to a fund for crime victims by Portsmouth magistrates.

She was banned from driving for a year and ordered not to leave court until the session ended.

Corbin admitted driving the car without insurance. No separate penalty was imposed.
