MAGISTRATES have fined a man for possessing cannabis.

Adam Collins, 22, of Warfield Crescent, Waterlooville, admitted having a plant of the class B drug and a lump of cannabis resin at his home on September 30.

He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and told to pay £85 costs by Fareham magistrates.

An order was made for the drugs to be destroyed.
