AN INQUEST has been opened after a man was killed after being hit by a lorry.

Patrick Foxcroft, 55, of Coronation Road, Waterlooville, died on the A339 near Newbury, Berkshire.

The lorry driver was not arrested following the incident at 3am on May 30. The family of Mr Foxcroft were too upset to speak. An inquest hearing will take place at a later date.
