Waterlooville man pleads not guilty to string of sex offences

A MAN charged with a string of sex offences has appeared in court.

During a brief hearing at Portsmouth Crown Court, Harrison Beattie, 21, of Coulter Road, Watrerlooville, denied two counts of sexual assault and two counts of rape when he appeared before a judge.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in August last year.

The alleged victim cannot be identified for legal reasons.

Beattie was released on bail by Judge Sarah Munro.

He is next due to appear at Portsmouth Crown Court for a trial in June.
