Knife-wielding man threatens staff in Portsmouth supermarket

WINE thief Jayne Dickson has been told to stay in at night.

Dickson, from Oracle Drive, Waterlooville, stole two bottles of wine from the One Stop store in Mill Road, Waterlooville.

The 31-year-old pleaded guilty to a charge of theft at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.

She was given a curfew ordering her not to leave home between 8pm and 6am daily for eight weeks.

Dickson was told to pay £10.23 in compensation to the store and £30 in court costs.

She was put under supervision for eight months.

Dickson was also given an activity requirement by magistrates, stating that she must take part in six alcohol intervention activity sessions by March.
