MORE than 120 firearms have been voluntarily surrendered in Hampshire Constabulary’s 12-day weapons campaign.

The weapons and ammunitions surrender was held to ensure they do not fall into the hands of criminals.

With weapons from as long ago as the First World War being handed over to officers, the Hampshire Police Chief Constable Andy Marsh praised the success of the county-wide campaign.
