A DRINK-DRIVER caught behind the wheel while more than twice the legal alcohol limit has been jailed.

Daniel Stacey, 25, of Scant Road East, Hambrook, Chichester, admitted drink-driving in Lakesmere Road, Portsmouth.

A test revealed his breath contained 102 microgrammes of alcohol per 100 millilitres. The legal limit is 35mcg.

Stacey also admitted driving a van while disqualified and with no insurance.

He was jailed for 10 weeks and banned from driving for three years by Portsmouth magistrates.
