A woman who stabbed her husband to death after a row over money has been cleared of his murder.

A jury six men and six woman took five hours to find Jennifer Parkinson, 65, not guilty at Winchester Crown Court.

Mrs Parkinson stabbed her husband Michael to death in their penthouse flat in a gated community off Mumby Road, Gosport on March 22 last year..

She has pleaded guilty to manslaughter and will return to court to be sentenced on Wednesday May 4.
