STEALING a £6 bottle of wine cost Paul Murphy £40.

The 40-year-old took the bottle from the Co-op in London Road, North End.

Murphy, of, Twyford Avenue, Stamshaw, Portsmouth, pleaded guilty to theft when he appeared at Portsmouth Magistrates’ Court.
