ELECTRICAL items have been stolen from a home in Locks Heath.

Police are appealing for witnesses following the burglary on Saturday.

It happened between 10.15am and 2.30pm at a home in Yarrow Way.

Thieves climbed through an open conservatory window and stole a Dell laptop, an Apple Mac laptop, a Nintendo 3DS and a Nokia mobile phone.

Detective Constable Katie Wakefield from Fareham CID said: ‘It is rare for a burglary to take place during daytime hours on a Saturday when many people in the area would have been at home.

‘I would appeal for anyone who saw anything suspicious, perhaps a vehicle or a person loitering around the area that you were unsure of or cold callers in the area that day, to contact the police.

‘I’d also like to remind homeowners to keep their windows and doors secure even if you are only popping out for a few minutes, sleeping upstairs in the house or enjoying the sun in the back garden.’

Call Det Con Wakefield at Fareham police station on 101.
