A WOMAN caught driving while disqualified has been spared jail.
Jane Stanswood, from Roman Grove, Fareham, pleaded guilty to committing the offence in Hill Road, Fareham.
The 47-year-old was sentenced to 12 weeks in jail suspended for a year.
She was given a curfew ordering her not to leave home between 9pm and 7am on Friday, Saturday and Sunday for four weeks.
Stanswood must take part in a Thinking Skills Programme for 22 sessions and was put under supervision for a year.
She was ordered to pay £80 to a fund for crime victims and banned from driving for a year.
Stanswood admitted pleaded guilty to the vehicle without insurance.
However Fareham magistrates imposed no separate penalty.
