WINE thief Cherry Costello has been told to pay compensation.

Costello, 54, of Solent Drive, Hayling Island, admitted stealing two bottle of wine from the Co-op in Elm Grove, Hayling Island, on June 25.

She also pleaded guilty to committing the crime while subject to a conditional discharge for another theft. Costello was told to pay £9.98 compensation to the store by Portsmouth magistrates.
