REVEALED: Number of sexual offences reported in Hampshire nearly trebles in four years

A 22-year-old woman has been arrested after an earlier collision between two cars in Southsea.

Police were called to St George’s Square at 12.30pm where there had been reports of a collision between a BMW and a Smart Car.

Hampshire Fire and Rescue said it looked like the BMW came off the road and hit the parked Smart Car, which knocked into a building.

There were no serious injuries but there was some damage to the property.

The BMW left the scene but was later found and seized by police.

The woman remains in custody.
