A WOMAN arrested on suspicion of neglect after a toddler fell out of a window has been bailed.

The 24-year-old was arrested on Wednesday after the boy fell from a first floor window at a block of maisonettes in The Anchorage, in Gosport, around 8am.

Now Hampshire police have bailed the woman until July 14.

A Hampshire police spokesman said: ‘The child, a three year-old boy, was taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham for treatment to facial injuries and is expected to be discharged later today.’
