AT LEAST six cars were damaged when a yob went on the rampage.

The wing mirrors of the cars were smashed off at about 1.30am on Sunday.

The vehicles were parked around Woodmancote Road, Clovelly Road and Wimborne Road in Southsea.

Police say witnesses reported a man on his own, walking in the roads shouting and swearing, who was seen attacking cars.

He has caused hundreds of pounds worth of damage to the cars.

Six car owners who woke up on Sunday to discover the damage called the police but it is thought there may be other people who have not reported offences.

Police are appealing for witnesses.
