BUILDERS, tradespeople and the public shared a big breakfast in aid of charity.

Days Buildbase, on Burrfields Road, Copnor, held the event as part of Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning.

All day yesterday they offered visitors tea, coffee and food in return for a donation to the cancer charity.

Manager at the builder’s merchant Chris Davies said: ‘Our trade customers always welcome a big mug of tea or coffee in the morning. We thought it would be a good idea to add some breakfast refreshments.’
