A CYCLIST was put on a spinal board after being involved in a collision with a taxi in Bedhampton last night.

Police and ambulance crews were called to Bedhampton Hill near the Rusty Cutter at around 8.46pm.

A 47-year-old male cyclist was placed on a spinal board by paramedics as a precaution and taken to Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, by ambulance.

His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.

The incident was clear by 9.14pm.
