RAC workers were called after a father accidentally locked his five-month-old child inside his car.

The man had got out the vehicle in Hartington Road, Gosport, at 7.15pm on Thursday and left his keys on the passenger seat.

The doors then automatically locked.

The RAC used special tools to prise the doors open. The child was sleep during the rescue operation.
