ZUMBA dancing will be one of many attractions taking place at this year’s Michaelmas Fayre in Gosport.

The fayre, which is organised by the Gosporteers, will take place at Walpole Park on Saturday, September 17 from 11am until 4pm.

Councillor Chris Carter, the mayor of Gosport, will open the fayre which will feature live entertainment.

Children can enjoy a bouncy castle, an assault course and rides.

Refreshments will be available and charity stalls will be raising funds.

Popular group Melissa, from Southampton, will headline the event and winner of Rowner’s Got Talent, Jade, will also perform two sets.

It is hoped that a street dance group from Ashley School of Dancing will perform and negotiations with other groups and performers continue.

Pitches for stalls are still available.
