THE commanding officer of Gosport’s navy base paid a visit to the town’s Sea Cadets.

Captain Trevor Gulley went to TS Hornet, at Royal Clarence Yard, Weevil Lane, Gosport.

He met the team running the cadet unit, including its commanding officer, Chief Petty Officer Tony Salmon.

Capt Gulley found out about the unit’s facilities and met the cadets. He inspected the main unit and the boatwork facilities at the RYA approved sailing centre.
