A TEAM of warfare officers will be cycling 275 miles to raise money for charity.

Five officers from HMS Collingwood will be cycling from Fareham to Paris on June 8.

The team will be raising money for the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

They will cycle through northern France, visiting Caen, Rouen, Amien and Paris.

Lieutenant Alan Morrison, who is heading up the group, said: ‘This route will no doubt be physically, mentally and emotionally challenging for the team, even the most experienced members.

‘These challenges, however, serve as an ideal opportunity to utilise and develop the skills we have learnt during our training.’
