ONE of the Royal Navy’s most advanced warships paid a visit to Saudi Arabia to mark the country’s strong bond with the UK.
Type-45 destroyer HMS Daring docked at a port in the city of Al Jubayl before guests got on board and had a look around.
The vessel is also working with Saudia Arabia as it tackles drug crime in the region. Captain Guy Robinson, Commanding Officer of HMS Daring, said: It was a privilege for me to take HMS Daring to Al Jubayl for the first time. The visit provided an excellent opportunity to build on the strong relationship between the UK and Saudi Arabia.’
