DARTS legend Bobby George entertained the punters at the Admiral Drake pub in Buckland for a Help for Heroes charity night.

The popular darts champion, who is instantly recognisable with his many gold bracelets and neck chains, played regulars in exchange for a charity donation.

He played and lost a match against pub darts champion Jon Bramble, who plays for Admiral Drake and recently won the Holsten Bier People’s Championship.

Landlord Simon Hughes, who has run the Admiral Drake in Silverlock Close for 17 years, said a good night was had by all.

He added: ‘Bobby was great fun. It was an eventful evening and we raised £200 for Help for Heroes.’
