DEFENCE secretary Michael Fallon is to be quizzed by MPs over the threat posed by Russia to the UK’s security.

The former minister for Portsmouth will appear in front of the UK defence committee on Tuesday.

He will be probed about Russia’s military capability and how Britain and its NATO allies.

The minister will also be quizzed over the impact any sanction on Russia could have on the UK’s economy, among other topics.
