FIRST World War historian, battlefield guide and broadcaster Charles Haskell is to hold a series of lectures.

The first is on September 25 at The Spring, in East Street, Havant, on Women in the First World War. On October 1, Mr Haskell, who is behind the First World War remembrance centre at Fort Widley, will tell the remarkable story of Reg Warneford VC. Warneford, a Royal Naval Air Service officer who was honoured with the Victoria Cross. On October 17 there will be a look at the Battle of Ypres.
