FERRY services will not be affected after last night’s attacks in Paris.

Brittany Ferries has confirmed that services to France will run as normal.

In a statement, Brittany Ferries said: ‘Following the terrible events in Paris, we don’t expect any disruption to services. Our prayers are with everyone in the capital.’

Condor Ferries added: ‘Our deepest sympathies go out to those in France after last nights events. Please, #PrayForParis.’

It’s not believed flights out of Southampton Airport will be affected either.

Train services were running to Paris from London St Pancras but there were reports that many seats were empty.

Eurostar passengers who had booked to travel to the French capital today but decided not to were being offered a free exchange.

Eurotunnel services for cars and lorries from Folkestone to Calais were also running to schedule.
